Talk! About It With 4D Recovery

On Thursday, November 30th, Avea Solutions will host Talk! About It, a fundraising event for 4th Dimension Recovery Center in conjunction with their inclusion in this year's Willamette Week Give!Guide. Featured speakers include Chloe Rose and Tony Vezina, 4D's vice president and executive director, respectively; Give!Guide Skidmore Prize sponsor Bill Dickey; and Mike Marshall and Brent Canode, co-founders of the Oregon Recovers Initiative

"4D's inclusion in the Willamette Week Give!Guide demonstrates the effectiveness and growth of our model. We hope that participating will help attract more support for our mission in helping young people facing addiction find recovery," Vezina said.  "This increased exposure couldn't come at a better time, with over 50,000 people dying as a result of the opioid crisis last year. 4D is not alone in this effort, and we appreciate Avea Solutions for hosting this conversational event regarding Oregon Recovers, a statewide campaign to take Oregon from last to first in addiction treatment accessibility."

Talk! About It is just the latest event done in coordination with our AveaCares initiative, a program created to help those in our community affected by behavioral and mental health issues, and to support technology-related organizations working to do the same. Tony Vezina recently spoke to the Avea staff about 4D's mission during one of our regular lunch and learn sessions.

Tickets for the event are $20 a person, and are available at the door or through the Give!Guide website. Refreshments will be served, and a photobooth will be available to commemorate the evening.
