What are you most passionate about professionally? Personally?

Kalei Libby

Professionally and personally speaking, I like to emphasize the importance of communication. In my relationships outside of work, I’ve learned that there is no conflict that a good conversation can’t solve, so I try to bring that mindset with me into the professional world.

What would you do even if you didn’t get paid to do it?

I’m a huge believer in helping people with their worries and woes. If someone is feeling concerned or conflicted, I’d like to help alleviate their stress and help them to see their problems from different perspectives.

What are you surprisingly good at (work or personal)?

In my personal and professional life, I try to be a great listener. When people ask me for advice, I take that as an honor and give the conversation my full attention.

What’s the biggest proof that you’re good at what you do?

The feedback that I received from my team and clients motivates and inspires me to keep doing what I do every day.

What do you like most about working at Avea?

The people that I work with, and the support I receive from my team. We work in a really fun environment with some really great people that believe in the same things that I do.

What’s your biggest accomplishment?

My team is working hard to smooth out the training process and how our team’s internal processes are presented. With the future growth of our department, I’ve had to learn how to transfer my processes onto paper for others to benefit from. I think my biggest accomplishment from this is the buildout of the Support Sharepoint site and the Troubleshooting flow chart for AveaOffice support issues.

What are you complimented on most in your work?

The feedback I hear most is that I’m an effective communicator. Clear communication has been integral to all of my professional success and is the backbone of my personal relationships.

How does your education connect to your professional career? What about personal experiences?
